Have you heard about “The Amazing Mountain Race!”? Register Now!!!!
The Amazing Mountain Race is a competition for all ages and skill levels in which teams of two, one adult and one child or two adults, race around the mountain competing with other teams. Contestants will visit 10 mountain “pit stops” where they will attempt to complete all challenges with the ultimate goal of being first to cross the finish line. There is NO biking or running involved, however, these challenges are related to our unique mountain community and you are sure to learn things about our mountain culture that are new and exciting. The team who makes it first to the finish line will be awarded the Grand Prize and the honor of holding the title of Champion of The Amazing Mountain Race; however, all contestants are winners and will receive a participation certificate! This is sure to be a great family and friend community event that will challenge your competitive spirit! How it Works:
We raise funds through registration and sponsorships, your support is greatly appreciated! Community businesses and families can get involved by participating as a team in this fun, family friendly event and/or supporting through sponsorship. Registration is $150 per team, there are limited spots!!
Sponsorships start at $250 and will help promote your business to the community and show your support for Early Childhood Education.
There are some fantastic prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Tahoe Lodging, Disneyland Tickets, Fairmont Hotel Date Night, SF 49ers autographed football and many more. There are some great team names coming in as well, “Team Danger” and “Team Germany” just to name a few! And best of all, the race will end with a wonderful BBQ meal provided by our very own Summit Store!! The next time you stop in there, be sure to thank the team at Summit Store for their continued support and contributions to our community!!! Not competing? Come join us for the BBQ and support your family and friends. Tickets are $20 for adults $10 for kids and are available for purchase online!
